Love and Rocketeer

This was done for the San Diego Comic Con. but was not used. It was a bit of a heart breaker because I really put a lot into it and think it was the best submission I've done for them.

Love and Rockets (Hernandez Brothers) and The Rocketer (Dave Stevens) both started in the same year. Since both were being celebrated I combined the two.

There is a lot of extra jokes and stuff in here. The Bull Dog Dinner has become a Mexican Chihuahua dog. The story telling is based off of a story called Easter Hunt that originally appeared in Love and Rockets #42. I even hid some easter eggs on the cover like the original issue did. My style is closer to L&R than the Rocketeer but the the jacket, Rocket Pack and other details were carefully recreated.
